Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA
Almost 10 years ago, I sat with weSPARK's founder, Wendie Jo Sperber, as she described her vision for a place where cancer patients, their friends and families could receive the support they need in a warm, friendly environment. Before her death, she not only realized that vision, but began it's expansion. weSPARK represents the best example of how small, intimate non-profits can effectively serve their communities.
