I was with Childfund for over 14 years and found them in the beginning a good Charity with clear and concise infrmation for about 7 years. Then in the last 7 years I have received sketchy communications and year after year pretty much the exactly worded letter from my sponsor-child in Ethiopia.
I would advise to do your research and find another Charity that will be upfront and not move there responsibilities to other smaller projects to maintain profits within their organization. I have spent alot of time just getting basic schooling information which it took them 5 months to obtain!!! Honestly and seriously I am truly hurting writing this but support someone else who cares deeply about children and their communities in depth. Not just children as numbers in a program.
