We can't say enough great things about Labrador Rescuers. We just adopted our 5th fur baby from them in October, giving our Riley a new brother. Over the years, we have had a chance to meet many of the volunteers who put so many hours into saving, rehabilitating, and re-homing dogs who need a second chance at life. Without the organization's willingness to save our Skye, he wouldn't have had a future as his owner left him at the high kill shelter in horrific condition and with immediate medical needs. They saw his potential and pulled him to safety. This time around, we really learned to appreciate LR's amazing foster parents as our Skye needed a dedicated individual to deal with his medical needs. I am truly unable to find the words to express just how much I appreciate the foster mom who created a safe space and provided the needed treatment for our baby to get well enough to meet us. LR does a fantastic job of finding these individuals who add so much to the organization. From searching for the right family to the finalizing the adoption, there are so many wonderful volunteers who contributed to us having very positive experiences each time. Our lives became fuller with each dog that entered our hearts, and we are forever grateful to Labrador Rescuers for these opportunities.
