Review for Center for Advancement in Cancer Education, Richboro, PA, USA
I have found that this Center is unique in offering approaches to help peop;e reduce their risk of cancer as well as offering ways to survive cancer. The caring and attention to each person and family member who wishes to be involved is unprecedented. The Center has been helpful to me with relatives who have been diagnosed with cancer as well as to improve my own immune system. Approaches include but are not necessarily limited to nutrition, counseling and resource materials which are truly user friendly and the cost is truly inexpensive. I have found that the Director is compassionate and decicated to the mission of helath and ell-being. My work at the center motivate me to become a licensed nuturitonist and to continue the lifelong learning process of heathy living. My background as a psychologist with a specialty in health psychology perhaps gives me a perspective of sharing with you that this Center is truly special and aims to enhance the lives of those who are diagnosed. The Center has been very helpful and inspirational too me at times when family members were struggling with theri health. It has veen a place that gives support and information of a kind that is not available anywhere else. I highly recommend the Center for hving both heart and brains Uf you or a family member could benefit from this information please do contact the center.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
It has given me knowledge and resources for Ibooks and other materials to improve my health.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would add to its budget as right now it is a non=profit which needs more money to expand its terrific services. It also could benefit from more staff as the need is there.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The ability to integrate varied approaches to improving health while taking individual preferences and needs into account. They have a wealth of knowledge and resources.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The staff is warm and dedicated to a mission of helping others achieve health and to thrive in their lives.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand counseling services, advertise its mission and services to become more visible, expand its location and resource library. hire more staff and most importantly could service more people who need this organization desperately.
Ways to make it better...
there were additional staff to allow for additional scheduling of appointments sooner. This can only happen if donations increase.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
This organization has a challenge of meeting ever increasing needs of patients and families with cancer while working with a budget which is small.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The Director has done an amazing job of inspiring and helping others. She knows how to use whatever donations she has to do the most good. She deserves a much higher salary but does not take it. The money you donate goes to patient services.
