I visited the children from 2 of the Acres of Love homes and their headquarters in Johannesburg. I was impressed by the respectfulness of the children and how they are thriving spiritually, mentally, physically and socially. I also met 2 housemothers and several other staff and they are dedicated, caring, amazingly capable, and well-trained. Children with special needs are cared for and loved by the entire Acres of Love community and especially by their forever siblings. Acres meets more than the needs of survival--these children are given the opportunity to have a forever family and to follow their passions and develop into future leaders of Africa. Jesus is at the center of this organization, and my visits convinced me to become a lifelong supporter.
