Review for ThriveWell Cancer Foundation, San Antonio, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

DIVA is a nutrition and exercise program which is free to breast cancer survivors. I have participated in the program for two years and it has been a life saver for me. Not only does it allow me to participate in various types of physical activities, but it also provides a support group of wonderful women who have experienced what I have in my breast cancer journey.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

As a result of the physical programs that I participated in, I was able to gain physical mobility, stamina, and energy sooner than anticipated after undergoing chemo and radiation therapy.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I don't know that there is anything that I would change about the organization. The regular staff and volunteers are very professional and helpful.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The exercies programs, especially Nia.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very professional and go out of their way to make you confortable.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

reach every cancer survivor and provide the information necessary to "go on with life" after cancer.

Ways to make it better...

cannot think of anything that would make it better.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

increased participation by cancer survivors.

One thing I'd also say is that...

every cancer survivor should participate in the DIVA program.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
