Our family fostered a DoD cat for an Army Reservist for not one, but two deployments, it was & is a joy to give back to those who serve. Being a Navy Family ourselves (married navy children, both of us, and my husband is going on 28 years in the USNR), we understand the sacrifice and dedication of all service members and it is truly a gift to US to be able to serve and give back in this way. Dogs on Deployment made it so easy and relaxed, from providing the vetting of volunteers on all sides, to offering the free "contract' that helped our family and Sgt. Morales nail down the details of the foster situation on the eve of his first deployment, I can't express enough love or gratitude for this amazing charity! We gained a friend in the process, and I can't thank them enough for putting us together!
