Review for Yavapai Humane Society, Prescott, AZ, USA
About six weeks ago I lost my dog to cancer. , she was a rescue dog, and my grandkids gave her to me. She was a part of the family for twelve years. Three days ago I checked the Yavapai website and saw they had a dog that seemed to be just what we were looking for, a year and a half old, medium size dog. We went to look at her and decided she was the dog we wanted. She is an Australian Cattle dog named Camile. The good people at the shelter went out of their way to assist us in adopting this dog. She is still a puppy and has her puppy ways, but she is also a very intelligent dog, has learned to use the doggy door to come in and out, has learned to sit on command, and I will be working with her with basic obedience training. She has found her forever home with us, and will be a valued member of this family. I can't say enough good things about the people at the shelter, they love animals, that is obvious. The volunteers there are very helpful, and gave us the dog's history as much that they knew of it. If you are looking to adopt a pet, I highly recommend the Yavapai Humans society.
