I had the privilege of volunteering as a leadership coach for SOLE Effects in 2017. This is a wonderful 8-week program that is fun, engaging, and what I believe to be vital for young teens to experience. It is 8 weeks of positive interaction in which students learn about topics ranging from body image to healthy relationships at such a crucial point in their lives. Not only did SOLE Effects make me a better leader, it made me a better human being as I was positively influencing teenagers to stay on course to lead fulfilling, healthy lives.
