When, about three and a half years ago my wife Susan was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, a friend had recommended that we read Dr. Simonton’s book, “The Healing Journey.” The book provided much useful wisdom, and we were eager to learn more. A trip from the East Coast to the Simonton Center in California wasn’t feasible. My wife then called the Center and they connected her with Rahla Kahn, a visualization coach in California who is associated with the Simonton Cancer Center. Susan’s year of weekly phone sessions with the wonderful Rahla Kahn were absolutely indispensable in helping Susan to maintain a positive outlook throughout the many challenges presented by the cancer and its treatments.
