The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival is a Kansas City gem. I started my career as an intern with them and went on to work for them in several capacities. I still return every summer with my family to experience the magic of theatre under the stars. The plays are engaging and accessible. As a theatre professional I am also consistently blown away by the high quality of the acting, direction and design.
