I went to Independent Cat Society looking for a friend for my dog. We had no certain kitty in mind. The staff was brilliant. They walked is us to each ROOM (not cages) where the kitties were roaming free. They told us back stories on the cats, and we were able to sit in the rooms and have some meet and greets with all of them. I loved it. We did meet a few babies that were kept together looking for a home. There were three that had been kept together; two of which were recommended to stay together. I did not have the heart to separate them so we ended up filling out an application for all three cats. Surprise, doggy! The staff was awesome about it, and to our surprise, only gave us a small fee for taking all three babies. Since the cats are regularly handled, it took a whole maybe 3 days to get snuggles between the cats and dog. We now have a happy home full of purrs, love, and happy tails. Thank you, ICS. You made our home whole.
