My situation has recently changed and I decided to cancel my Childfund account. When I went to do so I discovered there was NO place on their website allowing me to cancel so I sent them an email asking them to stop pulling the donations from my account. I received an automated message stating that it could be two weeks before I hear back from the company (due to system upgrades). This months donation was taken from my bank account even though I wanted to cancel WITH an extra shipping fee that I had not agreed to. I actually went into my settings to unclick the shipping fee box, yet somehow it was checked again. Not a happy camper. Several of my friends donate using other non profits and have never had an issue trying to cancel their account.
