There are truly no words to express my thanks & love for 4paws1heart! An amazing group of people who have come together for the all the right reasons, making such a difference in the lives of homeless & abandoned animals that everyone else gave up on! I feed strays & do outreach & rescue work which puts me in the right place at the right time for many needy/injured/abused animals, my most recent save with 4 paws BONES, bones was found at a gas station so sick he could hardly breath.. clinging to life completely emaciated, riddled with infection. The odds were against this kitten & i didn't think twice before rushing him home cleaning him up & doing what I could to get him through the night. I knew it wouldn't be enough & this babe needed a vet STAT! I wasted no time before reaching out to 4paws & with no hesitation was sent to the vet.... bones had such a bad URI it had traveled to his blood witch caused a tilt when he walked. The URI also made feeding bones & getting his body healthy enough to fight off this nasty infection hard. We tried so hard to save both eyes but one was just to far gone & needed to be removed. Again with no hesitation 4paws had the eye removed & bones continued to improve. After many meds/antibiotics, breathing treatments & eye surgery bones is a healthy boy who would be here today with out this wonderful group of people & their supporters!
