This is an organization that rescues horses that then go on to help people. It's probably one of the best nonprofit organizations I work with that gets the least amount of attention. And its needs are great. I have seen horses transformed, now living happy and healthy lives after years of abuse and neglect. I have seen people who work with those horses who have been transformed after years of suffering from physical ailments (MS, strokes, brain injuries) and mental issues (depression, PTSD, ADHD, autism, etc.). When I'm having a bad day, there is nothing better than hanging with the horsies to get my head straight. And, they give riding lessons, too!
