I have been a board member and have been thoroughly impressed with the demonstrated passion of the board members as they educate and empower the local community. The willingness to contribute personal funds in support of VHCDC’s mission is a great indication of how seriously they take the mission. Seeing minorities attend classes on home ownership and economic empowerment and then seeing the culmination of their dreams of home ownership brings great satisfaction.

The level of foresight that went into the development of this organization is astounding. This is evidenced by the type and quality of the courses offered to the communities it serves. Individuals and small businesses obtain not only knowledge to become self- sufficient and experience growth, but also the guidance and support they need all along the way. I’m glad to be a part of this organization!
