Fourteen months ago I contacted AHDRO after seeing a pretty sable collie. She had been terribley neglected and was very fearful. This is now Maddy (formerlyMaggie) and she is wonderful and has come a long way and has become a very pretty girl. Then last December just three days before Christmas Libby, my blue merle girl came into my life. She had been abused and was very fearful of people especially men. Over the course of the last year she has blossomed and now permits people to pet her and has become a real clown. I am impressed with the vetting process for adoption, the staff and volunteers I dealth with were all very committed to finding the right home and you could tell they really cared about each dog and their furture. I would encougage everyone to be very supportive of theis group.
