Almost two years ago, my husband and children and I converted to Judaism. We studied together as a family and made the decision to convert as a family B"H. My oldest daughter was 14 at the time, our youngest was 8. Was it a hard decision to convert? Yes and no. Hard to leave family, a community, faulty beliefs. But no. It was simple. The belief part is simple. It's the living it out that can be tough and bewildering yet eternally, profoundly rewarding. The Torah is truth. Everything that emanates from it is lifegiving...even the negative. B"H. We began studying with PIT last September and have been partnered up with a heavy-hitter, shoot-from-the-hip, knowledgeable-beyond-belief, go-getting New Yorker who just blows us away every time we meet. We study every Tuesday evening and sometimes it's the hardest thing EVER but most of the time it's simply amazing. Thank you PIT for providing this avenue for us to continue our learning. It adds so much to what our local community is already doing B"H. Thank you for the personal attention you give (emails and phone calls) to ensure we are still learning together and that we find it beneficial. May this organization continue to grow as you reach out to people and match people in the pursuit of understanding Hashem's letter of love to each of us.
