Los Padres Forest Watch does an amazing job. LPFW consistently wins battles that keep our forests from being turned into toxic waste dumping grounds or large oil drilling or fracking operations. In addition they help preserve and expand access to this tremendous natural area to people in the community. The staff, including the Executive Director is very knowledgeable and accessible. In terms of the bang for the buck for donors, LPFW operates at very low overhead and has a major positive impact putting the vast majority of donated funds directly into activities that preserve and enhance this natural wonder.
