When Lynda and I founded MEDICO in 1990 we never dreamed this venture would grow into major volunteer non profit organization attracting volunters from throught our nation. Now in our forth generation we proudly look back with a history of sending 5-6 teams of 10-17 members each year to remote areas of Honduras. Medical doctors, dentists, optometrists, nurses and lay persons, each paying their own way, give a week of their time giving back. Team members return year after year thanks to their heart warming experiences with a well run organized progam.

The "heart" of MEDICO, the person who makes this all work, is Lynda. Working with a strong board of directors and incredible volunteers, MEDICO has touched thousands of under served people of Honduras. Yes, I have reason to be proud of my wife who leads the organization with compassion, dedication, and love.

With always needed financial support from donors, MEDICO wIll continue to touch the lives of future team members, and the wonderful and grateful people being served.

Over the years we have seen MEDICO literally and positively change the lives of those being served as well as our volunteers. What a blessing for all! And the life long friendships of volunteers representing all corners of the nation is a special bonus.
