Defeat MSA’s efforts to increase awareness of this disorder and to engage in advocacy measures for patients have helped to give those impacted by MSA a much-needed, amplified voice in the community. This organization also helps support patients through support groups and the lending closet, which offers loans of specialized medical equipment to those who may not otherwise have access to it. As a member of the St. Clair Shores City Council, I am very grateful to have Defeat MSA active in our community.
