Review for Conservation Council For Hawaii, Honolulu, HI, USA
Over the past 12 years I have been associated with Conservation Council for Hawaii. I have worked as a volunteer and educator for the recovery of the Hawaiian Monk Seal. I am now proud to say that our organization is working as an educational arm for the Hawaiian Monk Seal through Conservation Council for Hawaii.
The enormous impact CCH has made over the years, through the tireless efforts of Marjorie Ziegler and Jonee Peters, have had an enormous impact on our State laws and regulations. This is one of the oldest non-profits in Hawai’i. CCH deserves recognition for their many accomplishments made to preserve the beauty, historical culture, and endemic species of Hawai’i.
Their work has impacted such important conservation efforts as Papahanaumokuakea National Monument, raising awareness throughout the entire archipelago about endangered wildlife and plant species. Their public awareness outreach includes many opportunities to experience wildlife and wild places in Hawai’i. These efforts have resulted in helping to restore, teach, and study historical preserves, teaching lessons about Hawai’i’s geology, ecology, ecosystem restoration, and species extinction.
The last 60 years of efforts by this fantastic non-profit group is so large the impact of their work is difficult to cover. I am proud and honored to be a part of Conservation Council for Hawai’i.

Hawaiian Monk Seal Preservation Ohana
Review for Conservation Council For Hawaii, Honolulu, HI, USA
What a great program that has been around for 64 years. Just recently became a partner with CCH as the Hawaiian Monk Seal Preservation Ohana. Affiliate partner with National Wildlife Federation, this non-profit protects and educates about the endangered wildlife and plant life on the Hawaiian Islands. A true gift to the people of Hawaii and the visitors that share the love of the islands.
