My elderly neighbor lost his wife and Buttons, the parrot, was "her" baby. It was very hard for him, but he made the decision to let Buttons go to a good home. He cried the day I picked Buttons up. When we got to the Parrot Outreach Society, about one hour away, they could not have been kinder. We toured the facility, told them of Button's likes and dislikes, and sadly left him there. It was so great, about two months later, when we saw on Facebook that he had a great new home with a nice lady. This facility is wonderful! The staff there is helpful and kind, and we are very grateful.
