It takes a village and AWOW nails it! Came out to support for an event and was amazed at how well this team works together to get these athletes in the water for a day of surf therapy. As a former surfer, I know how hard it is for a single person to get out in the water, face the ocean, catch a wave, and enjoy the ride. These instructors were able to get everyone out in the water, and although I know it’s hard work, they make it look easy. To see the joy on the faces of the participants is so amazing. I am impressed and humbled by the work of this organization, and so grateful that they can provide this opportunity to those who may not otherwise have it.
