As an educator I was able to get help professionally and grants to pursue projects at my school. Some of the projects were: school garden with raised beds, irrigation, and all weather paths; equipment for environmental monitoring, student camping trips to get inner city kids into the outdoors. Without the help of KACEE the professional development and materials to implement the things that I learned would not have happened. KACEE also provided a state and national network for help in my teaching.
