Review for Woodlands Wildlife Refuge Inc, Clinton, NJ, USA
Wonderful facility in Hunterdon County, NJ that helps injured wildlife then releases them back to nature when they are ready. I had an injured possum on my property and had no idea of who I could call for help. I found WWR on the internet, made only 1 call, received an immediate return call & the little possum was welcomed with open arms. I visited WWR about 2 months later and the little critter was still there just about ready for release, looking healthy and happy. I believe WWR is the only NJ approved bear rehabilitation center, too. That's HUGE when a facility can accomodate bears when needed. Their website is terrific-very informative with 3 webcams to monitor a lynx that cannot be returned to the wild, the bear cam, and one in house for various critters on the mend. New Jersey is VERY lucky to have such a top notch facility like WoodlandsWildlife Refuge. Every state should have facilities like this. Well deserved 5 star nonprofit! ☆☆☆☆☆
