Catch the Science Bug is a great addition to my science classroom. It is fun and engaging, yet still hands-on and an investigative approach. Kim's enthusiasm for science is contagious. She takes the students on a real-world application of the scientific method- having them explore their own focus question, formulating their own procedures, exploring the need for variables and controls, and analyzing their data. Through the years, we've had Kim, The 'Science Bug Lady', into our classrooms for several different lessons, and the students have thoroughly enjoyed each one.
