Review for Lazarex Cancer Foundation, Danville, CA, USA
My mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the fall of 2011, and by a miracle it was found on the cusp of stage two. This and the hard work of her oncology doctors gave us an additional six years with her. The Lazarus Foundation gave us the last 15 months of those six years. Through their reimbursement plan my mother was able to take the money that was fundraised to help with the travel for clinical studies to last. This program allowed my mother to accomplish part of her wish, "Spare one more family from this pain. I know I am going to dye but if doings this trial can help just one family I will be happy." She has just passed away and the family agreed that instead of having donations to the American Cancer Society to go this foundation instead, to help my mothers wish come true.
Thank you so much for the review Carlie. Our condolences to you and your family for your mom's passing and our deep appreciation for her contribution to fighting this disease. It is so kind of you to steer donations our way in her memory so that we can help others.
