I have volunteered with the AWLA for 5 years and cannot say enough good things about this sanctuary for animals. All three of our resident cats were adopted from AWLA; we also participate in the fosters program. Volunteering and fostering there I get to see close up how much this shelter truly cares for the animals in its care. They go the extra mile to help each animal find its forever home and work at making each animal as comfortable as possible until that time. I am proud to have this awesome facility in my community!
