Turning Point Enterprises, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Dr. Hayward who shares a legacy of family involvement in supporting the needy. Her father Dr. Joseph Ginyard, of Philadelphia PA, has been an active member of his community as a volunteer and homeless shelter provider for twenty years. He has passed this sense of community responsibility on to JoAnn, who now is compelled by that same sense of urgency in fighting for the needs of others and the comitment to improving the lives of our valued citizens and homeless individuals that are in need of assistance. Turning point provides a variety of supportive service to youth and their families, such as mentoring and coaching, Anti-Bullying education, we have partnered with local High Schools in our area and provide services to students and their parents. We also created a program called Parent University, where we provide services to parents that they have requested, such as computer labs, conflict resolution, blended families, money mgmt, etc. these classes are also bi-lingual . Also we provide substance abuse counseling and we perform clinical evaluations. Our main Goal is to stabilize women, children and individuals, motivate them to obtain permanent and prevent homelessness.
