Review for Ceres Community Project, Sebastopol, CA, USA
Ceres was a Godsend to me and my family during the months after I had multiple surgeries for Ovarian Cancer. A super friendly volunteer arrived at my door weekly with dinners for the week that were prepared by volunteers in the area including local high school students, supervised by an amazing chef. The meals were tasty and very nutritious, and made my life so much easier while recovering and having chemo treatments. Thank you Ceres!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
enjoying the wonderful meals they prepared during a time of great challenge for me and my family.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would help them to gain more funding so that the leaders of this organization could help even more cancer patients!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the wonderful meals that they delivered during a trying time of surgeries and chemotherapy. They also provided extra nutrional supplements such as tea, healing broth mix, etc as well as even homemade soothing balm for my skin.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
amazing! Most of the delivery volunteers were former cancer patients themselves and had such kind hearts of service.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
serve not only cancer patients in our county, but spread to help others in a wide area.
Ways to make it better...
I cannot think of any better experience I could have had with this organization.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
fundraising.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I greatly appreciate the service that Ceres Community Foundation offered to me at no cost. I was really incapacitated and it was difficult to cook meals. Ceres took care of that for me.
