I would consider myself a fan of San Antonio Dance Theatre d/b/a San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet. I have been going to their performances for over two years. I have always been impressed with the adventurous nature of their choreography and selections for peformance. According to their own literature, "San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet's mission is to provide a professional dance experience in a pre-professional setting. Our vision is simple - Transforming People and Ideas through Dance!" Without a doubt they do all of this and more.

SA Met does a great job bringing ballet to San Antonio at an affordable price. They also do free performances. They take pre-professional dancers and provide them with a venue to perform and explore, while also enriching the city's arts scene. It is a service to San Antonio that such an organization exists.
