I began volunteering with Northwest Boxer Rescue over a ago. I had heard great things and began helping them Rescue dogs out of California shelters (which is no small feat). They have an amazing system that truly puts the Boxers under their care first. I would help get the Dogs out the shelter and take them straight to much needed vetting. You see, most of the Boxers Kim Hamilton and her team pull from California are usually Seniors or Dogs requiring significant medical care. They make sure every Boxer is given the treatment needed, big or small to get a new start on life. They are efficient and don't cut corners. I really Love this Rescue. They take the unwanted, the left behind the abandoned and truly transform them into the "Most Wanted and Sought After" We have worked together and have Rescued over 40 Dogs in California and I can tell you, I can get updates on any of these Boxers at any given time. They are very transparent and it has been my Honor to be a part of the whole process. I get to see pictures & videos of them in their Foster homes. Some are recovering physically and some emotionally. There is not a dry eye when we see the "Adoption Picture" on the day they get their very own Family. It's a Journey for these Boxers.....a Loving Journey from the moment they become part of Northwest Boxer Rescue. I cant think of a better Rescue to be recognized due to their hard work and efforts. I hope they continue to rescue Boxers for years to come and leave a Legacy behind as to how Real Rescue should be Done.
