I have had the privilege to donate to this wonderful organization that reminds me daily, through their Savvy Giving by Design and related web sites, just how special and fragile life is. Their work is fueled by love and caring for severely Ill children who need to know others care for them in their illness and recovery, by providing a special, safe haven just for them. I am humbled by those who design and create these special places, especially Susan Winterstein, the group’s founder and leader. 100% of the donations go toward these rooms, with room “reveals”showing not just what was created, but also the joy these children and their families receive. I often cry upon watching the videos of these reveals, and see that relatively small amounts of money, combined with a lot of love, can accomplish great things.
