An amazing hands on organization, which goes above and beyond to make sure no dog is left behind. Chrissy Beckles’ along with volunteers have dedicated countless hours, for every single dog (and sometimes other animals) rescued on Dead Dog Beach. They’ve rescued dogs on the brink of death and rehabilitated them. Dogs that others would have euthanized because the cost to rehabilitate or take a chance was too great to even attempt. All dogs rescued are given the same care and attention regardless of their physical state. Our Satos are now almost 6 yrs old, they are our pride and joy. If it weren’t for the Sato Project: one of our pups would have died along with her brothers and sisters in a closed box left on the beach a few hours after birth, our other pup was abandoned at 2 months old on the beach by someone who cared for her initially but decided that dumping her on the beach was a better option than her finding another home. The Sato Project is deeply dedicated to ensuring no dog is left behind.
