I've been involved with SAFE for 5 years, mainly as a sponsor, but also with some of the work parties. Every volunteer and staffer has one goal, to provide a safe and loving home to horses that often have not known such a thing. Top notch organization full of caring people.

I've been a supporter of SAFE for about 3.5 years and have watched countless amazing transformations of starving, neglected horses brought back to health. Animals that have suffered so much, become trusting again. The horses are not only nursed back to health, but go on to receive training so that they can be adopted into loving forever homes. SAFE is mainly staffed by volunteers and is fully funded through charitable donations. They use the money wisely and stretch every dollar. The facility is well maintained and the horses receive the best of care. A++++++

Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE) is a wonderful organization that rescues forgotten and abused horses. They nurse each horse back to health and teach the horses to trust humans again. SAFE is staffed by selfless, caring individuals, who are mostly unpaid volunteers. The work they do is truly amazing, and deserves to be recognized and supported. Thanks to SAFE, many of these horses go on to find their forever homes.
