I started volunteering at SAFE (Save A Forgotten Equine) in January 2014, after attending a very rainy holiday open house. As soon as I walked through the barn door, I felt like I was home, and that feeling only expanded as Operations Manager Terry took me on a tour of the facility. During my tenure, I have met many people who have the same great love for horses that I do, and we all work together to promote SAFE's mission of finding a forever home for all our rescues. I am blessed to be a part of such a fantastic organization, and whenever I have the chance to, I encourage others to join!
