My son a herion addict, tried three times to get clean at helping up mission. They never gave up on him. Each time they embraced him and his addiction. Teaching him about himself, his addiction, feelings family, and hard work. The third time was a charm. He made three promises to me (his mother ). After spending a year in jail he returned to the mission ( Kevin didn’t give up) .promised he would finish the year long program, get his drivers license, and get his GED. He did all this with the help of the mission. MICRICLES HAPPEN EVERYDAY AT HELPING UP MISSION............AND IT DOES. My son would be dead without there support and dedication to each and every person that comes through there door

Having a place like Helping Up Mission is a god send. My son a herion addict would not be alive today if not for the caring , kind, and compassionate staff. They not only helped my son and put him on the right path in life, they healed a family. He is now working, paying his own way, got his high school diploma, and drivers license. The Helping Up mission has a motto "Now it's up to us". As a family we had to step back, let the mission staff and my son work together. Now 3 years later my son and family are whole.........Big Thank You Helping Up Mission
