As someone who has been in the horse world for 20 plus years and counting...and someone who has rescued many horses and ponies...I cannot say enough good things about this sanctuary. It's very easy to rescue. But it is NOT easy to rescue and rehabilitate on a regular and continued basis along w being able to keep track of said rescues even after they have left your home to continue providing them w a safe future. That is what Villi Poni does. And they do it very well. The animals and volunteers a farm has will speak volumes about how the humans are that run it and these unique ponies and their amazing volunteers just so happen to tell a very happy story.

Along w having all the love in the world for this non-profit, I also have the same love for this breed. I have owned a few and worked w MANY. This is a breed that deserves rescue. Deserves safety. Deserves a spot on this planet. They are intelligent, kind and incredibly intuitive which makes them one of the most interesting breeds to work w and spend time w as well as one of the most "family friendly" breeds I've worked w. This breed is exceptional and the people who run this sanctuary are as well.
