Felidae & the Bay Area Puma Project, its Bay Area research, is doing important and overdue work. It also connects well with the local community. At every outreach opportunity, tons of local people show up excited to learn more about the big cats in the area and to share their own stories. Felidae taps into the care and pride that people have in their communities and gets people excited to conserve in their own backyard.
