Review for Payatas Mission Outreach Inc, Riverside, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Payatas Mission was planned and orchestrated by Jack and Malou Wilson. Payatas is the central location for refuse dump for Manila. The people of Payatas scavenge through the garbage to survive. Payatas provides hope for the people of Payatas who like the garbage they sift through, thought they had been thrown away by society and not cared for. Payatas Mission has brought back hope to the people of Payatas by providing spiritual, emotional, and physical support. Medicines and foods are in constant need and Payatas Mission has limited resources. Payatas provides as much support as possible with limited resources. That is why my wife and I give what we can to help this mission help these people that basically, society has thrown in with their garbage. I ask anyone who may read this to reach into pocket and give if you can. The free medical clinic is a blessing to the people of Payatas since without money for healthcare in the Philippines. You will not get assistance or the assistance will be minimal. Frank & Rose McIlvenny

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have witnessed the results of Payatas by measuring the growth of their instituion. Since their inception, they have added some schooling for the children, medical support and spiritual support.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Seeing desperation of so many people change to hope.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated and frustrated as they want to be able to do more.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

offer real hope to a people that has been discarded by society. They could have full medical facilities and provide real educational facilities.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
