My time with PUSH International was an unforgettable experience. The cultural immersion was humbling and it provided a rich learning environment. As an occupational therapy student, I had plenty of opportunities to practice my clinical skills as well as connect with the welcoming community of Mazatlan. To give the gift of mobility was impactful and eye-opening. We often take for granted of our abled bodies and what seems like a surplus supply of adaptive equipment in the states. To those who want to make a difference in someone's life, I highly recommend you to take the initiative and be part of the future teams. It will be a heart-warming and transformative life experience.
