Julie Burge that runs this rescue, took time away from her practice to go help birds that were displaced because of Hurricane Katrina. She is one amazing person. Runs a wonderful rescue.

I first heard of Julie Burge when she took time out of business to help birds affected by Katrina. She went to help a lady take care of birds left behind. This lady does so many things to help others. Building a structure to house old breeders and birds no one wants is just amazing.
