NatureServe has been recognized with a genius grant by the McArthur Foundation because of its commitment to assisting governments, conservation organizations, corporations, landowners and the scientific community to manage our natural resources more carefully.

We cannot ensure the survival of endanger species and natural environments unless we can rely on organizations such as NatureServe to provide the scientific underpinning for our decisions.
