As a volunteer at the Cincinnati Nature Center I walked a trail one day and passed the large shelters of RAPTOR INC. Being curious I attended an educational outreach presentation which included an introduction of three of RAPTOR's program birds. The presentation was so professional and the audience of youngsters was so attentive. Being impressed, I connected with RAPTOR and volunteered to help. My first Open House event was also very professional, and I think the passion for the mission is the main reason everything seems go as planned by leadership, an exceptional staff and cadre of volunteers. This organization does what it says it will do. They do it well. And the birds and public are better off for their dedicated efforts.
