My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for TOWN CATS INC, Berlin, MD, USA
I was asked from Town Cats to help with fostering a litter of kittens. Not having much experience with kittens, I was educated on what to do. I took in a litter of four girls that were found outside and pretty much eating whatever they could find. We believe at the time, they were about 6 weeks old when they were trapped and brought to my house. They were extremely small , malnourished and sick. With the help of towncats and the Vets , we were able to get them up to speed with their weight , nutrition and get them well again.
Town Cats volunteers were there to help every step of the way until the girls were ready to go.
We adopted out three of the girls and my husband and I decided to keep one for ourselves. So yes , I became a foster failure but it was one of the best things we ever did.
That was over 2 years ago and I decided to help towncats and stay on as a volunteer. This organization really does care about its volunteers and about its cats and community. I have seen them grow over the years with more volunteers and more cats adopted out each year.
I am honored to work with them and honored to be part of their organization. Every person in this group is a volunteer which says a lot about how they love what they do.
