I started volunteering for this rescue in march 2016. I've always had a love for horses but this rescue is the reason I have a bond with them , especially my own horse Arizona that I adopted from the rescue. Everyone on the board and all those who volunteer ( both kids and adults ) are amazing people. This rescue saves any horse they are capable of taking in. I have seen pregnant horses, abused horses, extremely underweight horses, and many others be saved because of the West Virginia Horse Network.
