My Nonprofit Reviews

As a nonprofit professional at a university, I've come into contact with the Joy of Sox many times. Our students have been volunteering with their amazing program: providing socks--a simple necessity--for the homeless. Through their volunteer work, they've had the opportunity to learn administrative and organizational skills, to engage with other volunteers, and to spend time with the homeless.

Knowing of their depth of experience in programming, I decided to look into their governance and financials. They are a well-run organization, with a depth of knowledge in their board and volunteers that helps me to understand how they are managed and trust what they do.
