Episcopal Place is almost too wonderful to be true! But..luckily for me and the other residents, it is true!
I moved here ten years ago after I retired at age 69. My one bedroom apartment is sunshiny and plenty of space for me and my kitty. I enjoy reading and just being in my apartment, but if I want to socialize, all I have to do is go to one of the common rooms provided for us.
There I can visit with others, play games, enjoy the bird aviary, work on jigsaw puzzles or just hangout.
Director Tim Blanton is always working to make improvements to our environment here.
Our Services Coordinator, Shannon Atchenson is beyond compare. She provides beneficial programs for us, but also manages to be available for help with just about anything.
We have an Activities Coordinator who provides us with fun, fun get together on a regular basis.
We have a beautiful little chapel with Services there each Wednesday afternoon led by our chaplain who is also here on Tuesday to provide counseling.
This place is such a wonderful place to live, I almost want to keep it a good secret, but I am willing to shout it out this time!
