My name is Ronald Mumford and I am a Wendy's Wonderful Kids Adoptions Recruiter. I have been participating in this wonderful program with my clients since it's inception. Many of our clients in South Florida have never been to the ballpark. The experience is extraordinary. The children are excited and many have requested to attend games regularly. The umpires have always been engaging and first class to the children we serve. One young man in particular told me he didn't like baseball and he didn't want to go. I coaxed him and finally he relented. I am pleased to say that because of his experience with Umps Care Charities he attends games regularly and began playing baseball on the Optimist team in his neighborhood.
